User-created rooms

By default, users cannot create their own rooms—only support agents can create rooms, either directly using the “CREATE ROOM” button or by creating issues from selected messages in Triage:

If you want users to be able to create rooms themselves, you can enable this option in your workspace settings:

Once enabled, user-facing widgets will have a “CREATE ROOM” option above the roster:

Users can only create public rooms, which are visible to all other users in their customer/account/organization, as well as to support agents on your (the vendor’s) side.
