Forwarding
Another use of message ranges is forwarding to another room. In fact, a reply is just a special case of a forward—to the same room.
Unlike replies, forwards don’t always result in a bi-directional link if the viewer doesn’t have access to the source room. For example, if messages from a 1:1 room are forwarded to a public room (like Triage), only participants of the original 1:1 room will see the link. Others will simply see a Forwarded block of messages.
Forwarded messages can also be forwarded again, creating a chain of forwards.
